AlphaMob is the Schizophrenic Mane:
DJ and producer, new and old schooler, hip-hopper and raver, real keeper and hedonist. But above all he is one thing: a lover.
AlphaMob has been at the Wheels of Steel since the millennium. Socialised in the Golden Era via the West Coast, his path finally leads to the dirty South. Finally hooked, he founded the party series ‘Nite Of The Trill’ with Phonkycool - the Sister-In-Mind - in 2015 and was the first in Germany and beyond to bring Memphis Phonk from the internet to the real world. International acts such as DJ Smokey 666, $uicideboy$, Soudiere, DJ Yung Vamp, Roland Jones and others cavort there and create completely new party vibes in Hamburg club institutions such as the Pudel, Golem, Kraniche bei den Elbbrücken, Hafenklang and the Uebel&Gefährlich, earning Hamburg the international nickname ‘Hamphis’. Artists such as Skinny Finsta and Caramelo made their debut appearances here. This pioneering work is rewarded with Europe-wide DJ bookings in clubs (Berlin, Cologne, Vienna, Athens, Paris, London, etc.) and at festivals (including Fusion, Splash!, Hype).
In the same year, AlphaMob founded the first of 3 labels. The love of haptic media and as an ode to 90s Memphis rap - the sound that paved the way for the currently all-dominant trap - led to this logical consequence. In addition to their own productions, other artists from the Memphis Rap, Dirty South and Phonk/Trap genres also release here. On cassette and vinyl, of course. The highly coveted compilation series ‘Screwed Oceans’ is also released there. It brings together the international crème de la crème of phonk producers: be it Hutmacher’s Al Majeed or Fortinos Dr. Törner, France's Nxxxxxs, Canada's DJ Smokey or Spain's Absolute Terror, Sic's 3DMG or Level 9's Sick-O - on Screwed Oceans one gem follows the next and ensures top prices among tape collectors. Over the years, this foundation has given rise to high-calibre collaborations with international phonk key players such as Soudiere, Roland Jones, DJ Sacred, Brenk Sinatra and others, or the design export hit Christoph Florin (formerly known as Low Bros). In addition, the ‘Geeked’ EP with ‘your favourite rapper's favourite rapper’ Donvtello was created. This has also been featured in media such as Juice Mag, Backspin and magazines such as Ausruf Zine and Phonkiest Verses.
As one of the first phonk producers in Germany, AlphaMob stands for unmistakable beats that take the classic, dirty Memphis phonk and the legendary 808 drums to a new level. A number of rappers from Germany and abroad also appreciate this. They include new-school innovators such as the 102Boyz, Lugatti&9ine and Klapse Mane, the über-ladies Haiyti, KeKe and Adden and Doomshop’s Baker. But real US Memphis rap originators like Carmike and 211 also deliver musical bangers. AlphaMob attaches particular importance to avoiding the usual dick comparisons in rap. Instead, they like to let their trousers down and deal with supposedly more emotional topics. True to AlphaMob's personal motto: LoveLoveHateHateAntiAnti
